Spark & Lightning Simulation

Sparks particle Simulation combined with a rigid body simulation and procedurally generated lightning. Based on the tutorial from Stephen Knippings Applied Houdini Series

Sand Castle Grain & Softbody Simulation

A squid crashing into a Sandcastle. Soft Body Simulation versus Grain Simulation.
Software: SideFX Houdini Indie 16.5
Solvers used: Finite Element Solver, Houdini Grain Solver (both now more or less replaced by Vellum)

Zombie Fluid Simulation

High viscous liquid Simulation based on a mocap Zombie walking around. Rendered with typical green slime shader.

Half Life 2 Strider

This was just a quick test to see the workflow of exporting a Half Life 2 Asset and importing it into Cinema 4D with it’s animation intact.

Houdini Vellum Cloth Simulation

There are some amahing new Tools inside Houdini 17 and up for Cloth Simulation (and so much more!) called Vellum. Mocap Character dressed with a simple Vellum Cloth Setup.

Stormtrooper Breakdance

This was a quick test to see how a character Model can be quickly rigged and animated with Motion Capture via Mixamo.com
